Tree Removal
Majestic Landcare’s certified arborists prioritize safety when removing hazardous, diseased, or unwanted trees utilizing top-quality equipment to safeguard both property and lives.
How to Tell If Your Tree Needs to Be Removed
We consider several factors to determine whether your tree poses a fall risk. We assess the entire tree, the ground, the trunk, and the crown. This comprehensive evaluation helps us ascertain whether your tree could potentially pose a danger to you or your neighbor’s property.
Call for an evaluation if you notice any of these signs:
Leaning
Sudden leaning indicates potential root system breakage, signaling danger for the tree. In other cases, we can diagnose the cause of the tree’s lean and provide care recommendations.
Damaged & Decaying Roots
Trees can withstand some root damage, but severe cases may be irreparable. Our arborists will guide you to make informed decisions for your tree’s well-being.
Cracks & Crevices
Trees can be damaged by insects, diseases, windstorms, lightning strikes, fire, ice accumulation, or heavy snow on the branches. When cracks or cavities penetrate the bark, they damage a crucial layer of the tree that allows water and nutrients to disperse. If more than 25% of the bark is damaged, the tree will likely need professional removal.
Dead & Hanging Branches
This could indicate a need for careful trimming, but it could also signify that the tree is unhealthy. Our arborists will inspect the tree to determine if there are crown-density reductions that can maintain the tree’s health and prevent the need for removal.
Cosmetic Tree Removal
You might choose to remove a tree if it is growing into or near power lines, is within falling distance of your home, or obstructs the view of traffic. Trees interfering with the growth or health of nearby trees are also removed. Whether it’s thinning overcrowded trees or making space for a home expansion, there are times when a tree needs to be cut down to make way for something else.
